One of the most important components of any quilt block is the humble HST – or Half Square Triangle. There are many ways to make them, from two-at-a-time to many-all-at-once.
Each method has advantages depending on how many you need in set color combos. Working with many colors while blowing through your stash? Try two-at-a-time. Sewing up lots in the same specific color combination? Then it’s time to start mass-production using HST paper!
You will find the instructions on how to use the paper printed on each sheet. Handy hints: print on as thin paper as your printer will allow. Before making your half square triangles, you may want to test the paper on scraps to see if you will need to adjust your tension.
